TIL the anime convention in Denver had a panel where they debated if 'filler arcs' should be called 'canon-adjacent' for 45 minutes.
The moderator had a literal hourglass and everything, and I'm still not sure if they were being serious or not.

My hometown had a chance to get something like that last year, but the city council voted it down over parking concerns. We ended up with a new bench instead. It's a very nice bench, but it doesn't exactly have the same vibe.
