Just realized I used to waste 45 minutes every morning on email triage
I used to open every single email as it came in and reply right away, which meant I never got deep work done before lunch. Three months ago I switched to batch-checking email twice a day at 10am and 3pm, and my output doubled. Has anyone else found a time block trick that actually stuck for you?

45 minutes! I was doing an hour on morning email before I finally stopped.

Oh man, that email thing was me too. I was the same way, jumping on every notification like it was an emergency. I finally set a timer for 20 minutes twice a day to blast through inbox and it saved my sanity. I also started using a separate folder for newsletters that I only check on Fridays, so the main inbox stays just for stuff that actually needs a reply.
