My crew cut a gas line in a Bloomington crawlspace, and the guy who hit it is still my best hand
We nicked a 3/4 inch line under a 1920s house 5 months back and instead of hiding it my lead guy shut the main off and told the homeowner straight up. Bosses love firing the guy who makes the mistake, but I would rather keep the one who owns it than the one who never gets caught. Does your shop punish mistakes or the cover up?
