Overheard an HVAC guy say flex duct is a crutch, now I see it everywhere
He was telling a homeowner in the parking lot at Lowe's that rigid metal moves air way better and I used to defend flex because it's easier, but after watching how much static pressure we fight on every 2-story house in Phoenix, I'm starting to agree with him, has anyone else actually measured the difference on their own installs?
