Walked into the office kitchen in Austin and saw a handwritten sign taped to the fridge that was not about food
I went to grab my lunch at the office in Austin and there was a note on the fridge that said 'please do not microwave fish, we are trying to sell the company.' I had no idea we were up for sale, and neither did anyone on my team. Turns out a guy in sales saw the note and put two and two together, since our VP had been meeting with 'clients' in the big conference room all day. I still do not know if the note was real or a joke someone played. Has anyone else found out big news about their job from a random sign or slip of paper?

The "sell the company" note on a fridge in Austin would've sounded fake to me until it actually happened to a friend.
