Finally nailed that tricky Samsung ice maker after 3 visits
Had a customer in Austin with a Samsung fridge that kept dumping ice everywhere. Third trip out there last week, I noticed the auger motor was seizing when cold. Swapped it and the fill tube, zero calls since. Anyone else run into these intermittent ice maker gremlins?

Yeah man those Samsung ice makers are total monsters. Had a similar one last month, customer said it worked fine for weeks then just dumped a mountain of cubes on the floor. Turned out the harness connector was loose and it only acted up when the fridge cycled. Drove me nuts till I finally zip tied it.
