That "price so high he thought I was joking" line is perfect. I have a special skill for giving quotes that make people quietly hang up the phone. My talent is making folks instantly decide their view isn't so bad after all. They call for a tree guy and find a marriage counselor instead.

Honestly that approach seems pretty rude to me. You're basically tricking people who just want a straight answer. If someone calls for a quote, they deserve a real number, not a therapy session disguised as a price. It just wastes everyone's time.
