Just tried to use my old climbing saw to prune a huge willow in my backyard and ended up with a branch stuck perfectly upright in the ground like a javelin, lol.

I was trying to make a clean drop cut on a 20-foot limb over my patio, but the hinge wood gave way weirdly and it shot straight down, burying itself a solid foot into the lawn, and now my neighbor won't stop texting me pictures of it asking if I'm starting a fence post business.

Saw something on a tree service channel about willow wood being weirdly springy when it's green. Hayden_martin29 has a point about the accidental landscaping, but that wood can act like a giant rubber band if the cut's not perfect. Your neighbor's fence post jokes are probably gonna last longer than that branch stuck in the ground.

Man, that's some impressive accidental landscaping right there.
