Watching a road crew dig a trench on Main Street last week made me think about how much history is right under our feet.
They hit a layer of cobblestones from the 1890s just 18 inches down, which got me wondering what other everyday places are sitting on forgotten layers of time.

Nah, gotta disagree with @sarahc53 on this one. People find some wild, legit stuff out there, not just junk. You never know what's buried.
