My brand new Weber grill lasted exactly one cookout before the burners rusted out
I bought it in June, fired it up for a 4th of July BBQ with the neighbors, and by the time I was cleaning up I noticed chunks of metal flaking off the burners. Two weeks later I go to grill some chicken and one of the tubes has a hole straight through it. For a $450 grill I expected it to last more than like 6 hours of use. I called their customer service and the guy on the phone basically told me it was normal wear. Normal wear after one cookout? Get real. I ended up ordering replacement burners from a third party for $35 and swapped them out myself in about 20 minutes. Has anyone else had a major brand fail that fast on them?

Ngl that sucks and I totally get the frustration. Same thing happened to me with a name brand gas grill a few years back, the burners literally crumbled after maybe 10 uses. I ended up going the same route as you and swapping them with aftermarket parts for like 30 bucks. @gray_patel the garden hose thing is actually super similar, just shows paying more doesn't always mean you get quality anymore. Honestly your best bet is to just replace them yourself, those third party burners usually hold up way better than the factory ones anyway. I've been running mine for two seasons now with no issues at all.
