My whole 'ask anything' strategy fell apart yesterday

I was running a live Q&A session for my blog and my internet just died for a solid hour. It happened right after someone asked about podcast editing software. I had to switch to my phone's hotspot, which was super slow, and basically just typed answers for the rest of the time. Has anyone else had a major tech fail during something like this? What's your backup plan?

Remember my friend tried to host a webinar from a coffee shop. Their laptop battery died halfway through because they forgot the charger. Now they always test their setup in the actual location first. It seems like you need a solid plan B for your internet.
