She told me my habit of skipping the daily standup was making the team worse, and she was right about me missing context on three features
After I missed a deadline by 4 days because I didn't hear about a change to the API, I started sitting in on those 15 minute calls and now I catch issues before they blow up - has anyone else had to eat crow on feedback they ignored at first?

@taylorm89 It's rare but yeah, sometimes you gotta admit the other person had a point. Sitting through those standups honestly saves more time than it costs once you see the pattern of missed details. Next time, try asking one quick question per meeting just to stay engaged.
