Tbh I used to think dew was just a small hassle you could wipe away. That changed after a camping trip where my camera gear got soaked before sunrise. Honestly watching condensation ruin a whole set of long exposure shots was brutal. Now I pack those little chemical hand warmers to stick on the lens barrel. It sounds silly but that bit of heat makes all the difference. Lost a whole night once too and never making that mistake again.
