I laughed when a painter insisted on using a $12 bottle of 'color enhancer' on a faded red Honda, but the finish looked brand new after he buffed it out.
Has anyone else had a cheap product actually work a miracle like that, or did I just get lucky this time?

Honestly, I used to be such a snob about car stuff, thinking you had to spend a ton for good results. Then I tried this off-brand headlight restore kit for like eight bucks. The plastic was all cloudy and yellow, and this paste made it look clear again in twenty minutes. It completely changed my mind about cheap products, lol. Sometimes the expensive stuff is just paying for the name.

Right? It's all about that one magic ingredient.

Check the active ingredient list on the bottle. A lot of those kits, cheap or not, are just repackaged versions of the same polishing compound. The real trick is using a UV sealant after you clean them, or the haze comes back twice as fast.
