Man that sounds like a total mess. Dropping a 2,800 pound drum off the deck could've killed somebody, so at least everyone walked away. But the torch re-cert after all that? That's just salt in the wound. I've seen a plant make a whole crew redo lockout training because one guy forgot his tag, and it ate like four hours. One bad move turns a 14-hour day into a 20-hour day real quick. Hang in there, that kind of shift makes you want to just sit in the truck for a minute before driving home.

Ran my own little test on this for a thriller last month. Caught way more foreshadowing in the audiobook because the narrator paused at the right spots, but I kept zoning out during slower parts. Physical book let me flip back and check stuff, which helped for the discussion, but I forgot half the character names by the time we met. Best thing I did was listen to the first half on my commute then read the second half on paper over the weekend.
