That week I swapped junkyard rotors onto my 1998 Civic and actually stopped better than before
Spent last Wednesday pulling rusted rotors off a 2002 Accord at Pull-A-Part for $12 total, slapped them on with some used pads I found in the scrap bin, and the first hard brake on the highway exit almost threw me through the windshield, has anyone else lucked into a random parts combo that worked way better than expected?

Ha! Nothing like a $12 brake upgrade that turns every stop into a carnival ride. I did something similar with old Explorer pads on a Corolla once, the thing would lock up if you looked at the pedal funny. Glad you didn't end up tasting the steering wheel, man.
