The day a squirrel tried to help me with a quarter panel
I was working on a Honda Civic in the bay with the big door open, prepping the area for some filler. I turned around to grab my mixing board and a squirrel ran right in, jumped onto my cart, and knocked over a brand new $60 can of primer. It then sat on my toolbox chattering at me like it was giving notes. I had to shoo it out with a broom while the customer watched from the waiting room, laughing. Anyone ever have a wild animal 'inspect' their work?

That squirrel was probably after the corn starch in the body filler. Rodents love the stuff for nesting material, which makes a shop a real target. You might want to check for a stash in your air filter box later.

Rowan593's comment about rodents in shops reminds me of the time a mouse family moved into my old lawnmower. Found their whole nest built from shredded shop rags and insulation. Took forever to clean all that out.
