Old air ratchet vs new electric ratchet, honestly surprised myself

Been turning wrenches since 1998 and swore by my old Snap-On air ratchet through everything, but picked up a Milwaukee electric one on a Cyber Monday deal for $189 and used it on a rusty subframe job in January. That thing zipped off 16 year old bolts without me dragging the compressor hose across the whole bay, no busted knuckles either. Anyone else finally give up the air line for battery power during a big job?

That "no busted knuckles" part hits home. I think that's the real game changer nobody talks about, the torque reaction is way smoother on the electric ones. Plus not having to listen to the compressor kick on every five minutes in a busy shop is a huge quality of life thing. I kept my air ratchet for a while as a backup but honestly it's just collecting dust now, the battery one does everything I need and then some.
