Switched from grease guns to spray lithium for door hinges, never going back
For years I used a grease gun on every door hinge that came through my shop, even the family sedans. But last winter I had a 2014 Civic where the latch was sticking and the hinge pins were dry as a bone, so I grabbed a can of spray lithium that I kept for the tractor. It took about two minutes per door versus the whole setup and cleanup of the grease gun, and the customer came back a month later saying the doors were quieter than they'd been in years. Now I keep spray lithium on every bay shelf and only break out the gun for actual suspension work or heavy trucks. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference in how fast you can turn around a simple lube job?

Honestly, way more stuff in life is like this. The simple fix usually beats the pro tool.
