My brother said "I don't want to be the guy who asks Dad for money again" and that one line changed how I brought up his $1,800 debt
He said that while we were loading a U-Haul in Fresno three weeks ago, so instead of listing what he owed I asked what the loan was actually costing him in pride, and we finally worked out a $150 a month plan right there in the driveway, has anyone else had a money talk go better once you let the other person name the real problem first?
