My buddy swore the Lost Coast Trail in California was overrated. He was dead wrong.
Did the 25 mile stretch last fall and the coastal views were insane, nothing like the crowded Sierra stuff. Anyone got a similar hidden gem route that's actually under the radar?
The Lost Coast is legit. I did that same stretch in October and the fog rolling over the King Range was unreal. Honestly, check out the Trinity Alps if you want empty trails and crazy blue lakes.
