Three straight weekends of rain killed my shed project
I was so close to getting the roof sheathing on. Had all the plywood cut and ready. Then it rained. And rained again. My whole frame sat uncovered for two weeks straight. Now I've got mold spots on the floor joists and the OSB I left out warped like a potato chip. Cost me $80 just to replace the ruined sheets. Plus I had to rent a dehumidifier for a weekend to dry out the framing. My neighbor kept asking when I'd be done. I wanted to chuck a hammer at his fence. Has anyone else had a season completely wreck their timeline like that?

Man that sucks. Sounds like the shed is just gonna have to be the worlds fanciest mold terrarium now.

Laughing at myself here cause honestly my shed looks like a science experiment gone wrong too... I tried to dry it out with a space heater and all I did was make the humidity worse somehow. Now I've got this weird fuzzy rainbow thing growing on an old rake handle I forgot about. Pretty sure if I opened the door right now a cloud of spores would just punch me in the face. Might just paint the whole thing black and call it an art installation or something...
