TIL chickens can hold a grudge for weeks after a health check

Last month I had to separate my rooster Rascal for a foot soak, and he refused to come near me for nearly three weeks after. He'd even lead the other hens away when I brought treats, like he was telling them I was untrustworthy. Has anyone else had a bird that holds a serious grudge like this?

Yeah my hen sulked for a full month after a mite treatment. Total diva move.

Total diva move" made me laugh, @hannah240, because it's so true how animals have their own little personalities. I've noticed this bigger pattern where any little upset or change in their routine just throws them off for way longer than you'd expect. It's like they're reminding us they have feelings too, even if we can't always tell what they're thinking.
