Oh sure, @jason_kelly8, because nothing ever goes wrong with DHCP except a "setting in the router control panel." Must be nice living in a world where every home network has a clean config, zero VLANs, no managed switches with sticky MACs, and exactly one router with a factory default setup. Some of us have to chase down the one device that's holding a lease from a dead server while the main router is handing out 5 minute leases to a printer that's been off for two weeks.
