Wish I listened to my neighbor about the rooster
Old guy two houses down told me getting a rooster would turn my flock into a mess, but I figured he was just cranky. Six months later that bird crowed at 4am everyday, fought my hens over feed, and got the whole street complaining. Has anyone else had a rooster turn out totally different than they expected?

Dump that bird before it gets worse. I had one that started attacking my kids when we went to collect eggs. Neighbor was right, roosters just turn everything chaotic. The crowing alone will drive you insane, but the fighting over feed is what broke me. Get rid of it and keep your peace.
