Warning: coworking spaces in Bali are not what they seem

Yeah @the_jason nailed it about grabbing a local SIM - that backup data plan saves your butt when the wifi flakes out. Dojo in Canggu is solid early but even there I'd keep a hotspot ready just in case. Maybe it's just me but Bali's coworking scene is more about finding one reliable spot and sticking with it rather than hopping around.

Unpopular opinion: I think the classic straight razor shave is overrated for most guys now

Man, I get that... sometimes people act like a perfect shave is this huge deal but really it's just another morning chore. Props for keeping it simple, not everything needs to be a whole production.

Finally got past page 47 on that garden bench plan I started in April

Wait, page 47 on a bench plan? That sounds like the most thorough guide I've ever heard of - most folks give up by page 3 in my experience.

Swapped my paper planner for a $4 app after 12 years of bullet journaling

My third lost notebook in six years is what finally broke me too. But honestly, I find it funny that you mentioned missing stickers. I mean, are stickers really that big of a deal? If you miss them that much, just buy a pack and stick them on your phone case or your fridge. I think people get too attached to the ritual of it all. The whole point of a planner is to stay organized, not to have something pretty to look at on Sunday afternoons. If an app does the job better and doesn't get left behind at a Starbucks, I say just go with it.

I picked Arch over Revit for a residential project last month

Three days? I can't believe it only took you three days to adjust to ArchiCAD coming from Revit. That's honestly impressive, most people I know spent like two weeks just figuring out where all the menus moved to. The curtain wall thing is interesting though, Revit always gave me a headache with those multi-panel setups on smaller jobs. I've been tempted to switch for residential but the thought of re-learning a whole interface makes me want to bang my head against the desk.
