Heard a guy at the plant sale say he only buys natives now because 'the bees told him so'
He meant his yard went from 2 bee visits a day to dozens after he swapped his lawn for native plants, which got me wondering if anyone here has tracked pollinator visits before and after a swap like that.

Used to roll my eyes at the native plant crowd, figured it was just a trendy thing people say. Then I actually counted bees in my yard for a month before and after ripping out half the grass, and yeah, it went from barely any to a steady stream.
