Swapped nightly scrolling for 10 pages of paper books, brain feels weird
Last week I traded my 2 hour TikTok doomscroll for reading a paperback before bed, three nights in a row I actually fell asleep without that blue light fog. It's only been 8 days but I'm already dreaming in full scenes instead of fragments, has anyone else done this swap and felt their attention span shift that fast?

Why is everyone acting like reading a paper book is some kind of brain hack? You swapped one screen for another thing that takes longer to finish. The only reason you feel different is because you're not getting the same dopamine hits, so your brain is basically going through withdrawal and you're calling that clarity. Attention spans don't rewire in eight days, that's just not how brains work. You're probably just sleeping better because you're bored stiff and your eyes aren't frying, not because paper has magic powers. Give it a month and you'll be back to scrolling, or you'll just find a way to doomscroll in book form.
