Am I the only one who thinks fridge rules are the real roommate test?
I found out through a group chat that my old roommate was secretly measuring our milk consumption and calling me out for using 12 ounces a week, so which side are you on, the person tracking every sip or the person who thinks sharing staples is basic roommate decency?
Guys measuring milk is wild, but honestly I once had a roommate who weighed our toilet paper roll on a kitchen scale, so I get the paranoia. That said, sharing staples like milk and eggs is basically the roommate version of a pinky swear, and if you need a spreadsheet for that, you need a solo lease. My last roomie and I just took turns buying groceries and nobody died, even when I used his half and half for a cake.
