The empty church pews in Tulsa on a Wednesday night

I stopped by this small parish for a potluck last month and there were maybe 12 people, but the volunteer who runs the soundboard told me they used to pack 80 in for midweek services in 2019. Has anyone else seen a specific spot just quietly lose its crowd without anyone really talking about it?

Midweek services are a hard sell for most churches anyway, people got work and kids and stuff. Twelve people for a random Wednesday potluck sounds about right for any year, not some big tragedy.
