The water taxi guy in Baltimore knew the bridge schedule better than the port authority
He called the exact minute the drawbridge would open, saved me 40 minutes waiting on the dock, and I've trusted his word over any app ever since, has anyone else gotten pro tips from random ferry or water taxi operators?

Who knew the real schedule was locked in some guy's head and not the official app? I used to roll my eyes at that stuff and just trust the screens. Then I spent two hours on a hot dock in Annapolis because the app said the ferry was running and the guy running it laughed and said not till the tide came up. He told me to grab a sandwich and come back at 4:15, and he was dead on. Now I ask the folks working the boats first and check the app second.
