Found a workaround for instant bank transfers that saved me $15 each time

I was getting hit with $15 fees every time I did an instant transfer from my credit union to my online bank. Tried using Zelle but my credit union limits it to $500 a day. Then I realized if I initiate the transfer from the receiving bank's side using their 'pull' feature, it processes overnight for free. No more instant fees. Has anyone else found a way around these same charges?

That's a solid find honestly. It's like how everything in life has a shortcut if you just flip the way you're looking at it - half the time we're paying extra just because we're too used to doing things the hard way first.

I used to be the type who just paid the fee and moved on, figured it was just the cost of doing things fast. But reading your post got me thinking back to how much Ive wasted on those stupid instant transfer charges over the last couple years. I remember last month I needed to move money quick for a bill and paid $15 without even looking, when I could have just waited till the next morning. Your method is simple and it totally changed my mind on this whole thing. Now Im gonna start pulling from the other side and save that cash for something better.
