My client, a retired teacher, said my shop felt like a 'community hub' and not just a barber chair. It made me rethink the whole point of the space.

Honestly, that's such a huge compliment and it hits home. I see what baker.riley means about third places dying, because it's so true. My local diner used to be like that, a spot where you'd just run into people and chat for an hour. Now it's just people grabbing takeout. Creating a space that feels like a real hub, where people actually stick around, is special. It sounds like you've really built something good there.
