Switched from clipper oil to spray lube on my Wahl seniors

Used clipper oil for 5 years. Always messy and never felt like it got deep enough. Last week I grabbed some spray lube from the barber supply shop downtown. Cuts are way smoother now. Blades don't heat up after 4 straight fades. Anyone else make the switch and notice a big difference?

25 bucks for a can of Wahl spray lube. Lasts me about 3 months doing 20 cuts a week. @the_margaret the heat thing is the main reason I won't go back. I learned the hard way oil just sits on the surface while spray gets forced into the blade gaps with the propellant. Let the spray dry for 30 seconds before you fire the clippers up. That stopped the blades from seizing up mid-fade on me.

Blades don't heat up after 4 straight fades" - that alone would sell me on trying it. I feel your pain on the oil mess, glad the switch worked out for you.
