Appreciation post: The manager at the coffee shop in Portland who backed me up when a customer screamed over a $4.50 latte
Honestly, I was about to cry when this guy started yelling because his oat milk latte was 'too hot', but my manager stepped in, calmly told him the temperature was standard for safety, and offered to remake it once it cooled, which just made the guy storm out, but has anyone else had a manager actually have your back like that?

Tell him to check the thermostat before he complains. Mine does this all the time, walks in from outside and says it's a sauna. Half the time the AC is already running full blast, it just needs a minute to catch up. What does he expect, instant winter?
