Spent 3 hours on a double shift because of a sticky ice machine
The ice machine at our place in Austin started acting up last Wednesday. Took me until Friday to realize the filter just needed a $12 swap, not a whole service call that wasted my whole Thursday night. Has anyone else chased a simple fix for way too long?

Man that hits way too close to home. Spent a whole weekend thinking my AC was dying in July in Phoenix before my neighbor casually mentioned cleaning the condenser coils.
