Was folding shirts wrong for 2 years until a customer showed me the right way

I worked at a clothing store in Portland for over two years and always tucked the sleeves under instead of behind. One customer watching me fold finally asked if she could show me the trick, and honestly my mind was blown. Any other retail folks discover they were doing a basic task totally backwards for way too long?

Does the new folding method actually stay neat longer or is it just faster?

Trust me, I tested this for like three months straight because I got tired of everything falling apart by Wednesday. The new fold holds up way longer in my experience, especially if you're someone who tosses stuff in a bag or shoves it under your arm. My shirts actually look decent by Friday now instead of looking like I slept in them. It takes a little practice to get the motion down but once you do it's honestly quicker too.
