I picked grease over antiseize for my bottom bracket, no regrets

Everyone in the shop swears by antiseize on threads, but after 5 years of winter salt and creek crossings up here in Boise, my Phil Wood cup came out without a fight. I used marine grease instead, and it held torque perfectly at 35 Nm. Anyone else run grease on steel frames just to keep things simple?

Stick with the grease if it works, salt and grime hate it way less than antiseize. Ive seen antiseize turn into crusty concrete on old bikes, but grease just stays soft and does its job.
