inTried that new 'fast cure' clear coat from the truck in Atlanta and it fisheyed like crazy
Man, that sounds exactly like my nightmare with a different "fast" clear last July. Ended up switching to a slower hardener made for high humidity, even though it meant waiting longer to handle the part. The extra open time let the clear flow out before it set up. A super thorough wipe down with grease remover right before spraying became non-negotiable for me too, just in case.

inA simple text message changed how I handle plans with friends
Ever try just sending a calendar invite? I got sick of the back and forth, so now I just pick a spot and send the link. People either accept it or they don't, but it gets things moving.

inI used to think those cheap plastic root barriers were junk, but one saved a client's driveway.
We had a client in Bellingham with a willow tree about ten feet from a sewer line. They installed a 30-inch deep barrier from a garden center, the kind you just pound into the ground. Seven years later, we had to inspect that line for another issue, and the roots had hit that barrier and grown straight down instead of sideways toward the pipe. It was a total win for a fifty dollar product.

inFound out barbers used to do surgery... from a dusty book in my grandpa's attic
Remember when blacksmiths also pulled teeth? I mean, you'd go in for a new horseshoe and leave with one less molar, idk how that was ever a normal thing. Maybe it's just me but I feel like I'd want a guy who only does teeth, not someone who also makes swords all day. Makes you wonder if the first dentists just had the best tools for breaking stuff.

inMy old way of painting trim always left a sticky mess, but a guy at the hardware store showed me a trick.
Yeah, I did the same thing before painting my bathroom trim and it made a huge difference. No more peeling paint.
