Spent 4 hours trying to find a show that me and my wife both liked

I swear it's impossible to agree on anything these days. Last Friday we sat down after dinner ready to binge something good, and 4 hours later we were still scrolling through Netflix, Hulu, and HBO arguing over what to watch. She wanted another true crime doc and I was in the mood for something funny, but apparently that's asking too much lmao. We ended up just watching the first episode of some random anime I picked and she fell asleep 20 minutes in. Has anyone else wasted a whole evening just trying to pick something?

Dude that is the worst feeling. You finally get a night with no plans and it just turns into a 4 hour long argument about nothing. It makes you question your whole relationship sometimes haha. I mean my girlfriend and I have different taste in everything from snacks to music so TV is just another battlefield. What really gets me is when you finally pick something and one of you falls asleep 10 minutes in. So was the anime any good at least or did she just need an excuse to nap?
