Spent $20 on a magnetic parts tray for high steel and it saved my bacon

I was up on a beam in Detroit last Tuesday, juggling bolts and a wrench, when one slipped and bounced off the catwalk below. Threw a magnetic tray on my belt loop after that and caught every single fastener for the rest of the shift. Anybody else swear by a specific cheap tool that kept you from climbing down a hundred times?

Yeah a good magnetic tray is worth its weight in gold up high. Clip it on your belt or strap it to the beam and you're set.

Snagged one of those magnetic trays from a hardware store last year and it's been a lifesaver. Slapped it on the side of a scissor lift and didn't lose a single screw all day. Makes you wonder why you ever bothered with the old pocket-full-of-screws method.
