I finally figured out why my bookcloth was bubbling after 4 tries
Turns out I was using way too much PVA and not letting it tack up enough before pressing. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon on something this simple?

Oh man, how many times have I done the exact same thing? I literally spent 3 hours one Saturday trying to figure out why my bookcloth looked like a wrinkly mess. Turned out I just needed to let the glue sit for like 2 minutes before pressing. Felt so dumb when I finally figured it out. But hey, at least now we both know for next time right? The tack-up time is honestly the biggest secret nobody tells you about.
