Vent: People keep using PVA glue on leather hinges

I see it all the time in online videos now. PVA dries too stiff and cracks the leather after a few months of opening and closing. I learned that the hard way back in 92 when I ruined a journal I spent 40 hours on. Anyone else notice more folks skipping proper leather glue?
