Found a weird fix for the worst night shift coffee maker
Our break room coffee pot at St. Mary's Hospital kept leaving a burnt taste after 2 hours on the warmer. I tried cleaning it, descaling, nothing worked. Then one desperate night around 3am I just unplugged it 5 minutes after brewing and poured it into a thermos I found in the lost and found. Totally fixed the taste and now I do it every shift. Has anyone else found a janky workaround for a broken appliance at their job?

5 minutes is exactly the sweet spot for that model.

Hold up, 5 minutes? I thought they said 90 seconds was pushing it for that thing.
