The one day the office AC broke and everything went weird
Last August, the air conditioning died in our 14-story building in downtown Columbus, and management said it'd be fixed in 'a few hours.' That turned into 3 days of everyone melting at their desks, but the weird part was how nice people got. Mike from accounting brought in a box fan and shared it with three other cubicles, and Janet actually laughed at my stupid joke about the thermostat. Anyone else notice how a small disaster can flip the whole vibe at work?
