Warning: That 'quick fix' file review app turned out to be a total scam for our team
Honestly, I was super skeptical when my boss made us use this $30 per month app called FileCheck to review our boring inspection reports. Ngl, I thought it would just be another pointless tool like the last one we tried. But after 3 weeks, it caught 12 mistakes in my drafts that I would have missed, stuff like missing dates and wrong unit numbers. It saved me about 4 hours of rework each week. Has anyone else found a random tool that actually made their dull job easier or was I just lucky with this one?

Wait, you paid $30 a month for something that only caught unit numbers and dates?

Dude I feel your pain about trial and error with work tools. My team went through three different file sharing apps before landing on one that didn't corrupt our PDFs every time. The wasted time and money is REAL. It's honestly refreshing when you find something that actually does what it says and doesn't add more stress to an already boring task. Sometimes it really is just luck, but 12 mistakes saved sounds like more than luck to me.
