Finally stopped overthinking my morning routine and just went with the 5 minute version instead of that 45 minute 'perfect' one I found on Reddit.

Been trying this elaborate 10 step thing for 6 months and kept failing at step 3, but then I just picked 3 things I actually stuck to (make bed, glass of water, stretch 60 seconds) and it's been 2 weeks straight without a miss.

Bet the 10 step routine probably came with a side of shame and a splash of burnout, huh. Three basics that actually stick is way smarter than one perfect plan that never happens. Now you're just a regular person who makes their bed instead of a productivity influencer wannabe.

Oh man, hard disagree @juliagonzalez. That perfect 10 step plan might flame out for most people, but for some of us it's the only way we actually get stuff done. I'd rather crash and burn trying to hit a high bar than coast on three basics that barely move the needle. Sometimes a little shame is just the kick in the pants you need to stop making excuses.
