Had to choose between staying in the suburbs or moving downtown after 10 years

I picked the suburbs because my commute was already 20 minutes shorter than driving downtown for errands. Two years later I still miss walking to coffee shops, but saving 3 hours a week on driving feels like a win. Anyone else make that call and regret or stick with it?

It's funny how we keep trading one kind of convenience for another and convincing ourselves we made the right call, isn't it? That's just life now, picking which trade-off hurts less.
