Spent $150 on a fancy scheduling app and it made my life worse
I bought this app called CalendFlow to manage client appointments for my dog grooming side gig in Austin. It double-booked me three times in two weeks and I lost $200 in refunds. Has anyone else had a tool backfire that badly?

Oh absolutely, I wasted $80 on something called GroomerPro last year. It was supposed to text clients reminders automatically but instead it sent my personal phone number to like four strangers. Then it double-booked a golden retriever and a poodle at the same time on a Saturday morning. I had to work through lunch and still lost a regular customer who was not happy about the wait. That app got uninstalled so fast my phone probably vibrated. Never again with those expensive tools, just give me a simple paper calendar any day.

Wait, it actually sent your personal number to strangers? Thats like a lawsuit waiting to happen honestly. I cant believe they charged $80 for that kind of bug. Double booking on a Saturday morning is brutal, especially when you have to deal with angry clients. Losing a regular over something the app messed up is just salt in the wound. I dont blame you for going back to paper, sometimes the old ways just work better with less headache.

Double booking a golden and a poodle at the same time sounds like a nightmare lol. That reminds me of when I tried that Rover app for my own dog once and it kept sending me notifications for people in like different states. Paper really is the way to go sometimes.
