My boss in Austin made us do a 3 hour 'team building' call on a Saturday for a problem he created.

He spent the first hour blaming the marketing team for a sales dip that was clearly due to his own pricing change, then asked us for 'solutions' while ignoring every single one we gave him, so what's the point of these meetings if they're just a cover for his bad calls?

Sounds like a pretty normal Saturday for corporate work. Bosses mess up and call meetings to feel like they're fixing it. At least you got paid for the call, right?

Ever notice how this happens outside work too? Like when a landlord calls a "building meeting" after they ignored a leak for months. It's all about making a show of fixing things after the damage is done.
